During the working weeks the world spins fast, and that is why it is extra important to cherish the time you spend with your significant other. A great way to enjoy time together is to go on holiday, and what could be better than to find that magic place, that wonderful beach to enjoy together?

Cala Formentor

A beautiful, elongated sandy beach, lined with pinetrees, at Mallorcas most northern point. Is also known as Cala Pi de la Posada. During the drive out here you will enjoy beautiful views, and once here you will find parking (charge).

There is also a small café, open during high season. If you are a bit choosy when it comes to meals, the best is to pack a romantic picnic that you can enjoy together (make sure you pack plenty of water and sunblock). Park your car, and start to stroll along the over 800 m long sandy beach. The further you walk the less crowded it will be. This beach is also known for its lovely crystal clear water, so if you have brought snorkelling masks on you holiday, these should not be left behind in the hotel room.

With the warm sun on your face, a gentle breeze in the air and the sweet smell of warm pine needles you take a deep breath and just.. enjoy.

Sa Nau

13 km from Portocolom we find this gem, Sa Nau. The ocean have for many years worked its way through layers and layers of lime stone and created this 350m long S-shaped inlet which ends in a white, fine-grained sandy beach, surrounded by white, reddish and ocher cliffs, bordered by shrubs and pine trees.

It is very easy to get here by car; just follow the signs. Free parking is available 500m from the beach, and stone steps lead you from the road down to this lovely beach. Here is also a Xiringuito, a type of kiosk/bar that serves drinks and food, and also takes care of the rent of sunbeds and umbrellas. The umbrellas do make you a bit confused as to where you are – Mallorca or Honolulú?

The only negative there is to say about this beach is that everyone loves it.

Ses Covetes

Crystal clear water ripples over the white sand dunes dotted with pine trees...

It is difficult not to get poetic after spending a magical day at this beach. This calm beach is situated between Sa Ràpita and es Trenc, and thanks to a natural rise it is divided into two zones; one with the amazingly soft, white sand and the other one a bit more rocky, wild and picturesque – very suitable if you want to enjoy some calm and quiet.

Easy access by car, or buss (515 from Campos or 530 from Colònia de Sant Jordi).

By the beach there is a Hawaii-inspired beach bar where you can buy cocktails and food, and here you can enjoy some live music while watching enjoying the sunset.
